The first two games for Fako Pool of the newly created national youth Championship were observed on Sunday morning at the Limbe Centenary Stadium in the presence of the national secretary of the championship, the regional president of FECAFOOT southwest amonsgt other dignitaries.
The first game pitted NQSA of Limbe Under 17 team to Little Foot FC of Tiko while the second game was a clash between CINYODEV FA of Buea and Best Stars Academy of Limbe.
The national secretary general was accompanied by other football stakeholders to give the kick off of the tournament at 10:15 AM at the Limbe Centenary Stadium.
The first game;Little Foot FC Vs NQSA was very entertaining as both sides attempted to display what they gathered from the drills of their trainers.
NQSA of Limbe took the lead in the 12th minutes of the first game through Njikam Wonuri’s fine close range finisher.
Both sides kept attacking after the first goal as Little Foot FC was on a mission for the equalizer while NQSA were on a mission to double their lead.
Little Foot FC had the ball in the back of the NQSA net 23 minutes into the game but referee Fopa chopped off the goal for an offside.
NQSA of Limbe missed a couple of chances of their own in the other end but non of the two sides succeeded in getting another goal in the 35 minutes of the half.
Both sides went off gor the half time break with NQSA leading by one goal to nil.
The second half was a reflection of the story of the first with both sides attacking at every chance but a combination of poor finishing, good goalkeeping and good defending kept the score at one nil until the last five minutes.
Little midfielder Ekema John concluded a very good series of passes with his sides equalizer five minutes before the end.
The game stayed at one all till full time.

The second game was more of a one way traffic.
CINYODEV FA of Buea presented just XI licensed players against a very good Best Stars Academy of Limbe side.
The Academicians of Limbe took the lead from the penalty spot in the 11th minutes thanks to Boris Nsoga.
Likanjo Jemea doubled Best Stars lead on the stroke of half time before completing his brace on the 28th minutes of the second half.
Best Stars Academy of Limbe walked away with the three points and the three goals with Likanjo Jemea being the best performer of the day.

Michel Kaham and Djoufack Saturnin who are National Secretary General and coordinator of the championship in Fako respectively expressed their satisfaction on the degree of spectacle.
The authorities have promised better days in the life of the championship.
If the kids body language is anything to go by, then one can say there was total satisfaction about the start of this new competition, a point backed by the words of Likanjo Jemea of Best Stars Academy of Limbe.
