The national interpools is annual playoffs tournament organized by FECAFOOT and it serves as qualifiers for the Cameroon second tier Championship.
The competition groups the Champions of the 10 regions of the country produced through their different Regional championships.
So far, 4 four of the 10 Regions of the country have ended their championships and provided their champions to the national bureau.
They are the West Region where Volcan du Noun defeated Bombardier FC 2#0 some weeks back in the final to seal their spot. The North Region also have their ready-made representative in Étoile Filante of Garoua,a legendary club that has been out of the elite championships for over 3 decades.
PWD of Kumba will represent the Southwest Region when the draw is organized following their title win in the Southwest.
Stade Bertoua have picked up the ticket to represent the East Region.
In the Northwest Region, Foncha Street and Rainbow FC are the last two contenders for a single ticket.
So far, more than six Regional League’s are still going on, with the other regional representatives in the interpools, to be known in the days ahead.
The 6 six Regions without champions so far are:
Northwest Region
South Region
Center Region
Adamawa Region

Littoral Region
The last national interpools were played in a pools format, with the 10 teams grouped in three pools. One pool had four teams, while the other two had three teams each. It is still to be seen if the format of the competition will change this term.
AS FAP of Yaounde, Leopard Sportive of Douala and OFTA of Kribi, were the three lucky teams to get tickets to the league. Three other teams will certainly follow their full steps this season.
