Ndi Tsembom Elvis, emblematic Secretary General of the North West Regional Football League of FECAFOOT has been decorated with the Grade of Knight in Sports Order of Merit.
Ndi Tsembom Elvis and two others received their medals Friday, May 20th, 2022 as Cameroon celebrated the 50th edition of its National Day.
Speaking shortly after receiving his medal, Ndi Tsembom Elvis said it’s a testimony of the enormous work that they have done to redeem and revive football in the North West region.
“I want to thank the Head of state and the Grand Chancellor of National Orders for this mark of recognition. To have found my person worthy of this medal means a lot to me. I also wish to thank the President of FECAFOOT North West for appointing me to this function. To have won everything that there is to win in just 3 years is testimony of the enormous work we have done to redeem and revive football in the North West. I also wish to thank all the coaches, club Presidents, and Journalists who collaborated with us this far. To you all, I say thank you”, Ndi Tsembom Elvis told kick442.com
Appointed on January 16, 2019, as Secretary General of FECAFOOT North West, Ndi Tsembom Elvis has been arguably the most successful Secretary General the North West region has ever had.
Under his reign as FECAFOOT North West Secretary General, the region has recorded remarkable successes. Foncha Street FC and Rangers FC Bafut gained promotion into the elite two championship under his administration.
Also, Vision Sports FC of Bamenda gained promotion into the Women’s division one championship thanks to his efforts.
Barely three years in office as Secretary General, the current FECAFOOT bureau has won everything in the football domain; the elite one championship and the cup of Cameroon.
Several referees from the North West Regional league have also gained promotion to the national level.
On February 11, 2021, Ndi Tsembom Elvis received the Youth Excellence Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the growth of the North West region in the domain of football administration.
