Ambitious Italian Serie A side SSC Napoli are weighing the option of signing 27-year old Hellas Verona midfielder Adrien Fidele Tameze Aoutsa as a possible replacement for Andre Franck Zambo Anguissa who is currently on loan from Premier League side Fullam FC and doing so well.
According to multiple reports on Italian media, Napoli is keen on retaining Zambo but also exploring possibilities of landing Tameze who is held in high esteem by club coach Luciano Spalletti.
The excellent relationship between both clubs could be an enabling factor for the transfer.
Adrien Fidele Tameze entered was on the score sheet during Hellas Verona’s 2-2 draw against AS Roma on Saturday in match day 24 of the Italian top tier championship, the Serie.
Saturday’s goal was Adrien Tameze’s fourth league goal for Hellas Verona this season, in 26 games and he can also boast of an assist.
Partly thanks to Tameze, Hellas Verona remain in the top half of the league on the 10th spot with 37 points.
Adrien Tameze and Hellas Verona will face Venezia of Jean Pierre Nsame in Match-Day 27, hoping for a win as they continue their efforts to earn a ticket to compete at the continental level next season.
His prolific season has caught the eyes of officials in Naples and time will tell.
Tameze, potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon midfielder previously recieved call up to the Cameroon team but pleaded for more time.
Tameze who has represented France at several youth levels including at the U16, U17 and U18, will personally be looking forward to carving out space for himself with the Indomitable Lions where he is still to feature for the team despite declaring his availability for the national team over three years ago.
On his part, 26-year old Zambo who has played 21 games for Napoli this season has won 41 caps for Cameroon and scored five goals since his debut against Tunisia in March 2017.
