Desired by many of Europe’s elite clubs, Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly now has a heavy price tag on him for potential buyers.
Paris Saint-Germain are amongst the front runners for the 28-year-old Senegalese Central defender’s signature.
Considered a as potential successor of Brazilian defender Thiago Silva who will be at the end of his contract in June, Koulibaly now has a huge price tag for his services.
According to reports from Corriere dello Sport, Napoli have placed a price of €100 million for their jewel.
Koulibaly whose contract with Napoli runs till June 2023 is highly rumored to make the switch to the French capital.
The Senegalese international defender who was born in Saint- Diés-des-Vosges, in Paris, recently acquired a luxurious duplex worth €4 million in the 15th district of Paris. This has fueled rumours of an imminent arrival of the highly rated defender to the French capital.
PSG are known for their heavy wallet, but coughing out €100 million for a 28-year-old defender might just be too much.
The former Metz defender has made 21 league appearances for Napoli this season in the Italian Serie A. He is currently on the sidelines with an injury.
