She Corporate FC of Uganda has announced the signing of experienced Midfielder Anita Namata for an undisclosed fee.
The versatile midfielder who joins the Shark from Uganda Martyrs WFC the club’s fourth addition of the summer.
The 2021/2022 FIFA Women’s Super League Champions recently signed Joan Ainembabazi, Phoebe Banura, and Nankya Zahara in preparation for the CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers for the 2022 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League.
“I’m really excited to join the champions, I feel at home already.
I can’t wait to get started, help my teammates and myself get better.
My target is to help the team perform well in the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers and all the games we are involved in.” Says Anita Namata after completing her switch.
The Uganda Champions have been drawn in Group B of the CAF Women’s Champions league Zonal Qualifiers( CECAFA Region) alongside Simba Queens (Tanzania), GRFC (Djibouti), and Yei Joint Stars (South Sudan).
The tournament will run from 13th August 2022 – 28 August 2022 in Dar es Tanzania.
