The former manager of Asante Kotoko, Mr. Samuel Opoku Nti has explained that he did a handing over to Dr. Kwame Kyei as it was mandatory for any outgoing administration and it included Emmanuel Clottey’s issue as well as Dr. Kwaku Frimpong’s debt.
“It’s mandatory for any outgoing management to do a handing over to incoming administration so I did as it is.
I and George Kennedy did the handing over notes to Dr. Kyei. Clottey’s issue was part including Dr. Kwaku Frimpong’s debt”- Opoku Nti, Ex AsanteKotoko_SC General Manager told Nhyira FM.
Mr. Opoku Nti said he would be disappointed to hear from Dr. Kwame Kyei that he was not aware of the Clottey’s issue.
The former Kotoko manger who was in affairs from 2014 to 2017 added that Dr. Kwame Kyei never called him on the case and there were instances where he tried to call Dr. Kyei but he did not answer his calls.
“I will be disappointed to hear from Dr. Kwame Kyei saying he wasn’t aware of Clottey’s issue. Dr. Kyei never called me on the phone before. There are a few times I tried calling him but with no answer.
I think he doesn’t have my number that’s why”. – Mr. Samuel Opoku Nti added.
Asante Kotoko has up to 10th May to pay $240,000 to Esperance de Tunis else they face demotion.
