For New Stars internal problems ranging from unpaid bonuses and salaries which provoked multiple strike actions from the players culminated to relegation while for OFTA simply struggled in their new environment.
They finished the season on the last but one spot on the log with 19 points while New Stars are ranked bottom with 18 points.
OFTA only spent one season in the top-flight after their promotion in 2021 but unfortunately will be part of a group of five clubs to be relegated this season.
