Eding Sport de la Lekie and Former PWD of Bamenda’s Captain, Mbah Louis was on target in Match day four of the 2022 MTN Elite One Championship game pitting Eding and Yaoundé II FC.
The midfield sensation scored the first goal in that encounter just five minutes into the game to give his side victory and backing home all three points.
He displayed beautifully yesterday and had many other scoring opportunities but was squandered. His experience made him collaborate with the other teammates of his compartment, planning their smart and careful ball distribution but keeping it firm to avoid conceding a goal.
Reacting to his performance on the pitch in all games played for Eding, he had this to say;
“the last game is something I had kept in mind and was just waiting for my opportunity “
“I have been down for a whole season and so it was really difficult to come back… thanks to God for the strength to come back and pull this one” Mbah continued
“It has not been very easy for us working. The structure of the league is very difficult, playing every after three days but thanks to team spirit, we take every game as it comes”
The 2020 Cameroon league winner with the Abakwa boys was relieved off his duties from the club last season after almost seven seasons spent at the club. He was the longest serving player of PWD.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has now joined Eding Sport FC where he seems comfortable with the Atmosphere and acquaintance with the club so far.
“We have very talented midfielders in the clubs and believe me I’m impressed. Our goal is to take the club to higher heights and win the title this year”
“Thanks to the Coach for his relentless efforts to put us through. As you all can see, we are already producing the results from his teachings on the green turf every match day” he added.
Eding has played four games unbeaten, scoring eight goals, conceding just one. They are top of Pool B with 12 points.
Louis and teammates will go against Dragon FC of Yaounde at the Middle farms Stadium on Saturday April 2nd, in match day five of the Elite One championship.
