Nigerian International and Nantes winger Moses Simon has set a new assist landmark after providing the opening goal in his side’s 3-1 victory over Paris Saint Germain on Saturday.
The Super Eagles ace assisted Nantes’ first strike after just four minutes when he made a storming run down the left wing before squaring for Randal Kolo Muani to tap the ball into the net.
By supplying the crucial final ball, Moses delivered his 7th assist of the French League 1 season. No other Yellow Canary has supplied more assists in a single league campaign for Nantes as compared to Simon.
Simon Moses has three league goals to his name, the latest of which was a stunning free-kick that secured all three points for Nantes last weekend against Reims.
Simon last term managed six goals and six assists in 35 league appearances, including the relegation playoffs for Nantes.
