Super Falcons and FC Robo Queens’ Monday Gift scored two goals to help the Lagos Landladies to a 2-1 win over Rivers Angels at Legacy Pitch Surulere, Lagos, in their Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership week ten tie on Wednesday.

Monday Gift gave the host the lead in the 24th minute from the penalty spot. She doubled their lead before the end of the first half.
Maryann Ezenagu’s goal for Rivers Angels in the 61st minute proved to be a consolation as FC Robo Queens ended Rivers Angels’ unbeaten run in the league this season.
The defeat was Rivers Angels first of the season after ten games.

Confluence Queens and Osun Babes played out a goalless draw in a game which was characterized by injury to Osun Babes goalkeeper, Nwachukwu Elizabeth who was rushed to the hospital and replaced by Obia Christiana.

Nasarawa Amazons defeated Royal Queens 1-0 courtesy a 31st minute goal from Mathias Josephine.

After being held to a 1-1 draw by Rivers Angels last week, DreamStar FC Ladies suffered a 2-0 defeat to Sunshine Queens in Akure.
Goals from Okah Adaobi and Yakubu Aminat gave Sunshine Queens a 2-0 win over DreamStar FC Ladies.
In the final week ten game, Edo Queens was 3-1 victorious over Abia Angels with goals from Glory Ogbonna, Maryan Ohadiwe, and former Minsk FK player, Chioma Wogu. Adewale Bukola scored Abia Angels’ solitary goal of the game.
