Super Falcons of Nigeria and FC Robo Queens captain, Monday says she can score more goals to emerge as the top goal scorer in the 2021 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.
Gift increased her goal tally to eight after her goal canceled Cameroon’s Maxi Bilong’s goal in the ninth minute as FC Robo Queens forced host, Abia Angels to a 1-1 draw in Umuahia.
“It’s still a long way to go as far as the league is concerned. We have played just eleven games, remaining 15 league games to play. I think I can do better by scoring more goals to win the top goalscorer prize if I keep working on my goal-scoring abilities.” Monday Gift told www.kick442.com.
