Reports from multiple sources in Italy have it that, Italian Serie A side Fiorentina have identified 24-year-old Algerian midfielder Mohamed Salim Fares as replacement for Dalbert who is out on loan at Inter Milan.
The current Spal full back who also plays as a midfielder has struggled for game time this season featuring just twice in 32 Serie A games for Spal due to form and fitness issues.
Born at Aubervilliers, France in February 1996, Farès began his career at Bordeaux in 2011 before moving to Verona in 2013.
He joined Spal on loan in the 2018-2019 season and enjoyed a good run in the team but he has had to endure a contrary situation this term because of an injury picked up late last year.
He made the deal permanent last summer and is currently on contract till the summer of 2022. But Italian media have it that he could be in Florence next season if Fiorentina can pay 10 Millions Euros to do a deal with Spal, obviously with the help of Mino Raiola who is the player’s agent.
Since his international debut in 2017, he has earned nine caps for the Desert Foxes of Algeria.
He was a part of the Algeria team that conquered Africa last year in the AFCON tournament in Egypt.
