A goal from San Jose Earthquakes forward Jeremy Ebobisse scored on Sunday morning to help his club come from behind to hold Austin FC to a 2-2 at the PayPal Park in Match-Day five of the 2021-2022 Major League Soccer.
Maximiliano Urruti struck the opener for the visitors barely 11 minutes in off an assist from Julio Cascante before Sebastián Driussi doubled their lead from the penalty spot.
Cameroon’s Jeremy Ebobisse finally had the reward of his efforts in the 70th when he converted from the spot.

Cade Cowell leveled for the host barely two minutes after Jeremy’s goal thus completing a dramatic come back.
There wasn’t another goal in the remainder of the game though both sides had chances to seal the win.
It ended on the 2-2 score thus amounting to a second point for bottom San Jose Earthquakes while Austin take their points tally to eight points ahead of the next round of matches.
San Jose are away to Houston Dynamo on Sunday in their day six fixture and will be counting on the form of their Cameroonian forward Ebobisse to get their first win of the season.
