Cameroonian midfielder, Tah Brian Anunga has signed a contract extension with American outfit, Nashville Soccer Club in the United States of America’s top flight football championship, the Major League Soccer.
The 25-year-old penned down a four-year contract extending deal late this week, according to reliable sources closer to the player.
The move entails the youngster will stay at the club till the year 2025 in a deal football pundits suggest will greatly help in the development of the physically gifted midfield maestro under Coach Gary Smith.
Former Rainbow Bamenda midfielder, Brian Anunga joint Nashville SC in January 2020 from Charleston Battery.
He has since had over 40 appearances for the Eastern Conference outfit despite having difficulties having full playing time in the near star-studded Nashville Soccer Club that harbors the likes of Hany Mukhtar and Walker Zimmerman both recently named in Major League Soccer team of the 2021/2022 season.
Tah Brian Anunga and club had a hectic memorable season in the MLS this term.
The team recorded a run that saw the side reaching the semifinals of the Eastern Conference of the United States’ top flight football championship after finishing 3rd in the regular season, placed only behind giants New England and Philadelphia.
The team under the guidance of star defender, Walker Zimmerman of the US national team, defiled odds to compete with the finest stars of the league. A fit many analysts suggest will contribute in Brains’ career growth if maintained in forthcoming seasons.
