French Women’s second tier side Thonon Evian Grand Geneve have announced the signing of their 18-year old Cameroonian defender Mireille Tchengang following the termination of her contract at Soyaux.
The Cameroon international who spent just four months on the books of Soyaux and struggled for game time has switched to Evian for an undisclosed fee and contract duration.
The former PSG defender will get a chance to establish at another club after failing at PSG and Soyaux.
Mireille was a part of the Cameroon team that participated in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics qualifiers. Though she was invited for the final tie against Zambia but was unused.
The Lioness who holds a French passport has to look for fresh opportunities elsewhere.
Noted for her speed, versatility, good passing range among other characteristics, Mireille is expected to hit the ground running at her new club.
Evian got promotion to second tier of French football in 2021 and have been on a mission to build a strong team since then.
