The Nigerian player scored her first career goal for United States (US) National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) side, Houston Dash as her team thrashed Orlando Pride 5-0 on Saturday.
Nichelle Prince’s brace and a goal from Rachel Daly gave Houston Dash a three-goal lead in the first half at the PNC Stadium, Houston.
Prince completed her hat-trick in the 49th minute for Houston Dash’s fourth goal.
Michelle Alozie who came off the bench to replace Haley Hanson in the 81st minute finished the scoring for Houston Dash.
She received a long pass from Shea Groom in the 87th minute, raced into the box before wrong-footing Erin McLeod in goal for Orlando Pride and slotting the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
Houston Dash occupies the second position on the US NWSL table with 11 points from six games, the same points as Chicago Red Star and two points behind leaders, San Diego Waves.
The team will next play Angel City FC on June 8, 2022, at the Banc of California Stadium, Los Angeles.
