The former Diables Rouge of Maroua Center half joined Gent for a fee around the regions €4.5 last summer. He enjoyed a brilliant 2019-2020 season featuring in 42 games in all competitions for the Club, scoring four goals.
The 2017 AFCON winner is amongst the most important component of coach António Conceição’s Indomitable Lions of Cameroon team.
The same source says talks have begun between the player’s entourage and Juninho who represents Lyon in the negotiation process.

The former Slavia Prague and FC Botosani man is on contract at Gent till the summer of 2023, but with Lyon in the market for a partner for Jason Denayer there is nothing too hard for president Jean-Michel Aulas of Lyon.
Lyon has signed Ngadeu’s international colleague, Karl-Toko-Ekambi on a five-year-deal this window.
