Reports from La Repubblica (as cites by Calciomercato.com) have suggested that Milan AC’s CEO Ivan Gazidis has held talks with Nigeria’s Michael Emenalo.
The former Chelsea and Monaco director is reported to have met with Gazidis at Casa Milan within the week.
The former Super Eagles player has worked as scout, coach, technical director and Sporting Director during his stints with Chelsea in the Premier League and Monaco in the French Ligue 1. He is currently out of work after leaving Monaco.
The reports have not stated whether Emenalo has been contacted for a role with the Lombardy club or he met with Gazidis for just an advisory role.
Milan AC are in a serious overhauling process to get the club back to where it belongs.
The seven times European champions are a sleeping giant. Despite the improvements under current coach Stefano Pioli, the Rossoneri have already turned their sights on the future.
There are reports that the club’s Directors are not on the same page, with reports suggesting that the Paulo Maldini-Zvonimir Boban pair is not on the same page with CEO Ivan Gazidis.
Milan have showed their ambition with the direction the club is taking in recent years but they have not hit their heights of yester years.
