Austrian Bundesliga II side SV Horn have recorded a narrow defeat in their eight defeat in 18 games in this season’s championship.
The Club endured a difficult evening away at ten-man Lafnitz despite a goal from Michael Chekoua in the seesaw encounter.
The host got off to a great start when P Eler gave them a lead just 15 minutes into the encounter.
Though Lafnitz came close on a couple of occasions, the visitors protected thd one-nil advantage till the break.
Four minutes upon resumption for the second segment, Michael Chekoua was booked.
M Kropfl leveled scores for the host 14 minutes into the second segment.
The game opened with both sides on the front foot with the aim of getting another goal.
Michael Chekoua scored the second goal for SV Horn in the 70th minute, making it 2-1 for the visitors.
Two goals in quick succession, first from Gremsl in the 78th minutes and from Tomka in the 85th minute sealed the three points for the host.
Cameroon’s Michael Chekoua has provided an assist and scored once this season.
Chekoua’s Horn are currently ranked 11th in the competition with 20 points from 18 outings so far.
They host Austria Wien in their next league game.
