Buea United’s center forward Mbua Oscar is feeling much better after a horror Depressed skull fracture sustained a week ago in his team’s 5-1 win in the Cameroon cup preliminary against EEMSA 22 a week ago.
Mbua Oscar only has to go four weeks without kicking a ball after which he can return to action.
The forward hit the deck after a head-on collision with James Ayamba of EEMSA 22 and stayed down, calling for his coach Agbor Emmanuel to make a substitution.
Mbua Oscar’s situation grew worse despite attempts from the Buea United medical team to salvage the situation.
Club president of Buea United Kadji Valery having noticed the worrying situation, rushed the striker first of all to the Limbe General Hospital where the player’s head was scanned and he was diagnosed of a depressed skull fracture. From the Limbe General hospital, Buea United’s go-to-guy was transferred to a clinic in Buea where treatment was completed.
Club president Mr. Kadji Valery has confirmed to kick442.com that the injury did not damage the player’s brain due to the quick rescue action by the club. An untimely intervention would have presented the fans of Southwest football with something to worry about.
