Indomitable Lions head coach Rigobert Song Bahanag has handed a first call up to the Cameroon team for next month’s AFCON 2021 qualifiers games against Kenya and Burundi.
According to sources the player has been handed an invitation and is expected to be in Cameroon by May 30th.
The former Under-20 international has been in scintillating form for the Porcupine Warriors notching home 18 goals in 23 appearances in a form that has inspired the Kumasi giants towards another title win.
The Ghanaian champions elect can owe their 25th title success to the former AS Fortuna nibble footed forward who has been their match winner on multiple occasions this season.
Mbella and Christopher Wooh are some of the new faces retained by coach Rigobert Song in the squad expected to be published in the hours ahead.
The indomitable Lions will host Kenya at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium on June 5, before traveling to face Burundi them four days later in Dar Es Salaam in Match-Day one and two of the upcoming AFCON qualifiers.
