French League side Stade Rennes have join the race to sign in form Cameroonian forward Mbella Etouga of Ghanaian Premier League side Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The 20-year old has been quite sensational since switching from Cameroon Elite side AS Fortuna of Mfou to Kotoko just over four months ago.
The striker who will be 21 in September has scored 14 goals and provided two assists in 17 league games for the record Ghanaian champions.
The great output has caused Galatasaray and now Rennes to identify him as a possible target for the upcoming window.
Etouga and compatriot Mfegue Georges, 24 who has scored six and assist three goals have been the attraction of scouts.
Asante Kotoko have however ruled out the option of mid season transfers thus leaving Galatasaray and other interested party with ample time to ready for a potential tug-of-war.
Mfegue and Mbella will join their club colleagues in their next home against Karela United in Match-Day 22 of the championship on Thursday, March.
Etouga is valued at one-quarter Million dollars per German transfer firm Transfermkt.
