Cameroon international Frank Mbella Etouga has been spotted at the Cairo international Airport on Saturday, September 17 as he arrives Egypt to complete formalities for a switch to one of the country’s giant clubs.
According to our sources the 22-year-old Mbella has decided to quit Kumasi Asante Kotoko and continue his football with Egyptian Premier League side Al Masry SC.
We understand Mbellaa who scored 21 goals in 30 Ghana Premier League games last season for the eventual champions and registered interest from multiple clubs has opted to accept the two-year-deal from Al Masry.
Mbella, uncapped Cameroon international will complete pre-signing formalities including medicals in the hours ahead before the club announce his arrival everything being equal.
The move to Egypt will mean the Cameroon under-20 international who previously played for AS Fortuna before moving to Ghana in October 2021 becomes the second Cameroonian plying his trade in the Egyptian top-flight championship – following the steps of Jonathan Ngwem II of Future FC.
