According to Canal+ reports, Rennes and Marseille have found common ground on the transfer of Senegalese forward Mbaye Niang from Rennes to Marseille.
According to the reports, the two clubs agreed on a move for the sum of €20 million, which is equivalent to the sum Rennes were demanding for the striker.
However, recent reports from RMC Sport, suggests otherwise, claiming that there is no such agreement between the two clubs.
RMC Sport claims that Marseille have not made any offer for the 25-year-old Senegalese international.
There is no agreement between the two clubs for the player who has openly admitted he wants to join Marseille.
The former AC Milan and Torino forward’s contract with Rennes runs until June 2023.
Last season, he scored 15 goals in 38 games across all competitions for the Rennes.
