28-year-old Senegalese forward Mbaye Diagne has taken to Instagram to fuel rumors he could be on his way to England with Championship side Nothingham Forest lurking.
The Galatasaray forward who spent the second half of this season on loan at Belgian side Club Brugge had an impressive season with four goals scored from 12 appearances in Brugge colors.
The Dakar-native with experience in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, China, Belgium and native Senegal still keeps his dream of playing in England alive.
His recent Instagram post on his dream move has made it an open secret.
“Fate is written and the truth remains. Thank you so much my God, I accept everything you do for me. (A lion never dies).”
Mbaye wrote on Instagram with a picture of his with the Nottingham Forest badge.
His contract at the Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi Türk Stadium runs till the summer of 2023 but with former Ivory Coast manager Sabri Lamouchi at the helm of Nothingham Forest and a €5 Million release clause, there is a possibility of doing business.
The former Juventus of Turin forward has won nine caps for the Terenga Lions of Senegal.
Senegalese strikers have a great reputation in England and a move to the country for the experience forward remains open.
