Mbabane Swallows 2-0 Manzini Sundowns
Mbabane Highlanders 1-0 Matsapha United

DEFENDING SMVAF Ingwenyama Cup champions, Mbabane Swallows maintained a tournament’s unbeaten run thanks to a Njabulo Ndlovu first half brace that downed the sun on Manzini Sundowns in the last of the quarter finals played at Somhlolo National Stadium on Sunday.
Having bagged the last three editions, the Birds as they are affectionately known, have won the 18 matches in this tournament now in it’s fourth edition and broke little or no sweat at all to easily join Malanti Chiefs, Young Buffaloes and Mbabane Highlanders in the last four.
Ndlovu netted the opener on the half hour mark before beating the half time whistle to complete his brace and easy as that, the Birds had flew themselves into the semis reducing the second half to a mere entertainment session.
Earlier on, Mbabane Highlanders needed a Thabiso Mokenkoane 78th minute goal to subdue a fighting Matsapha United in the third quarter final to buckle up for a semi final berth raising a bar of hope for the trophy starved fans.
The opening half closed off in a barren state and it only awaited one moment of shear individual brilliance for the ice to be broken with South Africa born Mokenkoane the most reliable to deliver that icing.
Meanwhile, the semi-finals draw will be conducted at a date to be advised by the organisers.
