The Mauritania Football Federation has postponed the Ligue 1 to September as a result of the Corona Virus pandemic.
The decision was approved by the Mauritania Football Federation during a series of meetings Tuesday,May 5 2020 .
The Ligue 1 had been suspended following the outbreak of the Covid-19 and will only resume after four months.
The move is a response to the Confederation of African Football CAF who instructed her member countries to communicate their future of their domestic championships on or before May 5.
Several African football federations have opted to postpone their League’s while others have simply concluded and champions declared.
