Mauritanian Premier League Champions FC Nouadhibou are set to name a replacement for Cameroonian coach Mauril Mesack Njoya.
The 48-year-old winner of the domestic championship in five of the Club’s eight successes to date has turned down a new contract after seeing out the previous deal.
Being the architect behind the Club’s five domestic title win in a spin, coach Njoya is set to be redeployed to the general manager role.
In the meantime, kick442.com understands current Comoros boss Amir Abdo will be named as his replacement while coach Njoya stays in the board role while chasing a national team job in his country.
Former Indomitable Lions of Cameroon great Samuel Eto’o congratulated coach Njoya for the job he is doing at FC Nouadhibou and promised to revert if an opportunity comes knocking at national team level.
FC Nouadhibou are preparing for their title defense in the 2020-2021 plus their CAF Champions League preliminary tie against Ghanaian giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The Club is hoping to carry its domestic dominance to the continental scene with coach Njoya overseeing activities from the board room role.
