Yong sport academy of Bamenda host Feutcheu FC of Bandjoun in Bamenda this Wednesday February 27, 2019 in a day six game of the league one championship. YOSA surprisingly suffered their first defeat of the season last Sunday in Yaoundé against AS Fortuna and also conceding their first goal in that process. Feutcheu on their part were held to zero all tie by struggling Unisport of Bafang.

THE STAKES

Coach Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso of YOSA has come under enormous pressure and criticism from the fans recently, with the poor outings of his team especially against Unisport and Fortuna. Just one point separates the two sides in the league rankings for pool B, with YOSA sitting third with seven points, why Feutcheu is fifth with six points. A win for YOSA might likely take them back at the top of the group, depending on the results of the other group games, while a win for Feutcheu will see them go ahead of the Bamenda Boys.
YOSA will also be in search of their first ever win over Feutcheu.

HEAD TO HEAD

It is on record that YOSA has never beaten Feutcheu FC, since Feutcheu joined the top tier in 2017. This Wednesdays game will be the fifth meeting between the two sides, and in their last four meetings, Feutcheu has recorded two wins (YOSA 0#2 Feutcheu in Bamenda on May 28, 2017, Feutcheu 3#0 YOSA on September 28, 2017). The other two encounters between the two sides have end on parity, with a Kongnyuy Jude goal helping YOSA to salvage a 1#1 draw in Bamenda on match day 13 of last season, before the two sides played a virgin tie in the return leg. The last four matches between YOSA and Feutcheu have produced nine goals, with six for Feuthceu and just three for YOSA.
YOSA has picked just two out of 12 points against Feutcheu, with eight points going the other way. In fact Feutcheu FC is the only club in League one that has played against YOSA and never suffered a league defeat.

RECENT FORM

YOSA has picked up two wins, one draw, one defeat and scoring twice in their four games played in the league this season, while Feutcheu has recorded one win and three draws, scoring four times. No player from the two teams has hit double figures in terms of goals this season, though Ashu Tambe Clevis has provided two assist already for YOSA.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Three players in the current YOSA squad played for Feutcheu last term, Ashu Tambe Clevis (scored 12 goals for Feutcheu last term), TOKO TOKO Eric, and Yindui Bouba. They will be facing their former club for the first time.
YOSA missed the services of ADU Wum Elvis and Cyril Fonou in their last game, but the pair may likely return fot the game on Wednesday.
Also, three players of the Feutcheu squad have played for YOSA and Know the mile six stadium so well. They are midfielder Richard Ebongue, Right Back, Daouda Alim and goalkeeper Hart Chenwie Tse, who spend the second half of last season with YOSA, before returning to Feutcheu where he is back-up to Sodea Eric Sadjo.

THE COACHES

Coach Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso made clear after their defeat against Fortuna, “I think that what we missed today, we are going to correct it on Wednesday against Feutcheu.”
Richard Towa on his part is not a new name in Cameroon football.Last season Richard Towa brought Dragon FC to Bamenda and took a point back to Yaounde.
