Union sportive of Douala alias the Nassara Gamkia and PWD Social club of Bamenda, the Abakwa Boys, will entertain football lovers at the Limbe Centenary stadium, in what many have described as the final of the relegation playoffs in the Cameroon league one championship.
It is the winner takes it all game, as the two sides struggle to secure a place in the league one championship next season.
Union sportive of Douala needs just a draw from that game, to confirm their stay in the top flight, while for PWD, it is a must win scenario for the Abakwa boys. Just one point separates the two sides, and union is level on points with Fovu and Astres.
“I believe it is the model of the championship that has brought a lot of problems in the teams because it was so short. Most of those teams, PWD and USD have young players and with young players you need long time for them to adapt and take the steam. So, I believe it is just the model of the championship. The games were to short that’s why with their situation having young players they were unable to go through without problems”.
“The respect of strategy and game plan. If we can respect those two things: strategy and game plan, we would make the difference. Another thing is the respect of things that does not talk of talent in order words, zero talent such as passion, attitude, efforts, doing extra and being on time during offensive and defensive manoeuvers during this game, endeavoring to act not react”. Agbor Ernest Ako,former PWD defender in this fixture and Union Coach told kick442.com this week.
