The Loum Municipal stadium will this Sunday April 7, 2019 host two heavyweights in Cameroon football, as home side Union de Mouvement sportive host visiting Yong sport academy of Bamenda. The two sides are on a poor series, with UMS suffering two defeats in their last two games, while YOSA has only managed two draws in the post Ndoumbe Bosso era.

STAKES

Just one point separates the two sides on the leagues table, while UMS is just 3 points short of pool B leaders, Feutcheu. A win for UMS may take them back to the summit, given that leaders Feutcheu are exempted from day 13 action.
YOSA on their part can get back into the top 2, if the win UMS. The Bamenda boys are also in search of their first win since Thomas Ayuketang Kome took over as interim coach.

HEAD TO HEAD

YOSA won the away tie in Bamenda on match day 1#0, thanks to a goal from Yves Alain Dooh Moukoko.
Sundays game will be the 12 meeting between the two sides in the Cameroon top tier champion. In their last 11 confrontations, YOSA and UMS have recorded 5 wins each, with 1 game ending in a draw. Last season, UMS defeated YOSA home and away, but YOSA has an advantage going into this tie.

RECENT FORM

UMS has lined up two straight defeats in their last two games. The team has however won 4 of their 11 matches this season, recording 3 draws and has suffered 4 defeats. UMS has also scored 8 goals and has conceded 5 times.
Just like their opponents, YOSA is on two back to back draws. The Bamenda boys have managed just 3 wins this season, 5 draws and have tasted defeat 2 times. Despite all the attacking reinforcements, the team has not been very active in front of goal, has they have scored just 6 goals (second worst attack) and have conceded 5 goals.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

UMS will certainly rely on the solid defending of Cedric Djomo and hopes the likes of Victus Amougui and Joel Etogue are in good shape. Fabrice Raymond Fotso has scored two goals this season, and will certainly be the target man for UMS.
YOSA on their part will have to rely on the likes of Cyril Fonou, Asongwe Lovette, petit Fils Djamen and Louis Dada Manjo, to strengthen their defense. Bouba Yindui may also start in the midfield, in the absence of Randy Ntume.

TEAM NEWS

YOSA is going to be without their captain, Yves Alain Dooh Moukoko and midfield Maestro, Randy Ntume Kwalar, who all had red cards in their last game against unisport in Melong.
