Potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon goalkeeper Simon Brady Ngapandouetnbu has signed a contract extension with french side Olympique de Marseille which will keep him with the French outfit till June 30, 2025.
18-year-old shot-stopper who arrived Marseille in 2014 signed a first professional contract with the club in 2018 and it was expected to run till this summer.
His progress and hunger around the first team as deputy to first choice Steve Mandanda and Pau Lopez has earned him selection into the first team Match-Day squad on several occasions and consequently a new deal this Tuesday.
“A little less than two and a half years ago, Simon Ngapandouetnbu signed his first professional contract. This Tuesday, March 8, 2022, the 18-year-old goalkeeper extended with a new contract for Olympique de Marseille”, Marseille wrote thus confirming Simon’s cat-like moves, ball control skill, composure and varied qualities has won the heart of the Southern France giants.

The potential Stade Vélodrome great has frequently for the feeder team while waiting patiently for first choice keeper- Steve Mandanda to make way.
The keeper who has been preselected by Cameroon is developing at not just the only French Club to win the UEFA Champions League, in 1993 but a club in which many Cameroonians excelled.

Ngapandouetnbu is expected to be a regular at Marseille before the end of the new deal especially as legendary Mandanda is considered to be preparing for his retire from the beautiful game soon.
