Former Intermediate Lions of Cameroon midfielder Mark O’Ojong Nkongho has left Cameroon for Tunisia ahead of a switch to Tunisian top-flight side US Tataouine.
The former Seattle Sounders and San Antonio midfielder has left Bamboutos FC of Mbouda on mutual consent after an excellent season.
US Tataouine are keen on adding the 23-year-old to their workforce ahead of the new season in Tunisia.
Noted for his versatility and ability to play in multiple positions, O’Ojong will be a huge addition to the Club once the deal is done.
The intermediate Lion with six caps for the category of the national selection joins a handful of players that have left the country on the eve of the 2020 African Nations Championship.
Thierry Akono, Simon Omossola, Pascal Mbarga and now Mark have all defected the local selection for abroad.
