Former Cotonsport of Garoua forward Marius Mouandilmadji has handed the sum of 15 Millions FCFA to the government of Chad as part of his support in the fight against the CoronaVirus pandemic in the country.

The 23-year-old Chadian international on the books of FC Porto, on loan at Portuguese side Desportivo Club Aves made the gesture this Saturday. The information was released by his agent Maxime Nana on Facebook.

The ‘big’ forward for efficiency in front of goal is in his second season in Europe. He has always been close to the Chadian people since leaving the country for Cameroon in 2018.

The Doba native scored 18 goals in 21 games for Cotonsport in a dream 2018 season in which he won the Cameroon league one title before moving to the Estadio de Dragao.

Marius has won four caps for the ‘Les Sao’ but is still running behind his first goal in senior international football.
