18-year-old potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon defender Marc Fred Tsoungui has joint newly promoted Swiss Super League side FC Lausanne-Sport.
The defender signed a-three-year contract from Italian Serie A outfit, Napoli.
Tsoungui who was playing with Napoli’s youth teams, made four appearances last season but still caught the eye of the management of FC Lausanne-Sport.
He moved to Italy last summer from FC Lausanne-Sport’s Academy, where he was with their U-18 team, which probably facilitated his return to the club.
He holds a Swiss passport by birth, but he is of Cameroon descent.
Coach Giorgio Contini of the newly promoted Swiss top flight side will be hoping to nurture the highly rated teenager to become one of the best in his position for the future.
He is expected to resume training with first team of the club on August 17, 2020.
