CD Pozoalbense coach, Manuel Fernández, says that the signing of Super Falcons midfielder Evelyn Chiedu Nwabuoku will add experience and balance to his side.
“She is a center midfielder who will provide much balance to the center of the field”.
CD Pozoalbense signed Evelyn ahead of their next season campaign.
The new player of the Vallesano llega has recently played for Guingamp of the French Primera División Femenina as well as helping Rivers Angels to the 2018-2019 Nigeria Women Premier League, NWPL title.
In the Nigerian league, she has played for Bayelsa Queens and Rivers Angels. In 2015 Evelyn played for BIIK Kazygurt, as she debuted in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
She was the captain of the Nigerian Women’s national football team at the Africa Women’s Championship in 2014 and the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The 34-year-old “will bring a lot of stability and experience to the team because we are sure that it will be the motor of the team. A tireless midfielder and leader in the field of play with her command. She has enormous physical power and does not delay her recovery pattern. Indefatigable in the middle zone.”
