Reigning English Premier League Champions Manchester City don’t have any plans of parting ways with their Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez, despite interest from PSG.
PSG are one of the top clubs to show a concrete interest to sign the Algerian 2019 African Cup of Nations winning captain.
Reports from the Sun suggests that City are not ready to let the Algerian leave this summer.
An internal source from the club told the Sun that “there is an interest but we are not ready to let him go. He[Mahrez] told Pep [Guardiola] that he is happy and he thinks he has finally found his place in the team.”
The 29-year-old Algerian is tied to City till June 2023.
He has scored 9 goals and provided 14 assists in 37 games across all competitions for City this season.
Riyad Karim Mahrez moved to City in 2018 from Leicester City after helping the Foxes to an incredible league win 2016.
