In-from Potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon forward Malik Tchokounte was on target in his side’s 3-3 draw against Toulouse FC of compatriot Steve Mvoue who was sent off in his first league start on Saturday in Match-day 38 of the French Ligue 2 championship.
It wasn’t an easy encounter for Malik and his mates as Toulouse FC put up a steady defense which resisted all thrown at them in the first-half with the exception of a 33rd minute penalty converted by French midfielder Emeric Dudouit who scored just six minutes after forward Rhys Healey had given Toulouse FC the lead.
Both sides wasted a number of chances in the remaining minutes of the first segment and at the break it was 1-1.
Four minutes upon the interval, forward Boudaud made it 2-1 for the host, setting them on their way to another win.
Malik made it 3-1 in the 73rd minute of the game before his side was pegged back two late goals from Rhys Healey in the 79thband 87th minutes.
At Full-time it was celebration for Toulouse players who picked up a point despite finishing the game with ten players and commiseration for their Dunkerque colleagues who surrendered a two goals lead.
Malik has scored nine goals, provided four assists in 33 French Ligue 1 games this season for Dunkerque who finished 16th while Mvoue’s Toulouse FC are promoted as third.
