Potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon forward Malik Tchokounte was on target on Saturday in his side’s 1-1 draw at away to to Le Havre in match-day 26 of the French Ligue 2 championship.
The big forward scored the opener for his side in the 46th minute but it wasn’t to be the expected afternoon for the visitors.
Malik’s goal was his fifth in 23 games this season and he has also recorded two assists.
Dunkerque are currently ranked 16th with 26 points from 26 Ligue 2 games ahead of their home to Chambly on Saturday.
Malik’s form in the final third will be key for the rest of the season.
32-year old Malik was born in Nice-France of Cameroon parents making him eligible to represent either nations.
