Flying Eagles explosive winger, Success Makanjuola has joined CD Leganes of Spain from Water FC of Abuja.

The Nigerian player was unveiled today with the player and his agent rocking a Nigerian attire with the design of the new club’s badge.

The midfielder was unveiled on Thursday linking up with compatriots, Kenneth Omeruo and Chidozie Awaziem at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque.

The midfielder told that, “I feel so happy because I think Leganes is a good team for me to develop because we have two Nigerians already playing there; Omeruo and Awaziem.”

“They will be like elder brothers to me. To put me through and show me how the Spanish league works and also encourage me to develop; grow, that’s why I chose Leganes.”

There were reports earlier of clubs from England and Europe wanting to sign the Nigerian star but he opted to go to Spain.

Nureni Makanjuola, who is the player’s Manager, said the development and future was the reason they agreed to sign up with Leganes.

The player was part of the silver winning team at the Africa Games in Rabat, Morocco.

Makanjuola was a member of Nigeria’s team to the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup and the African Games as well.
