As multiple European clubs continue to clamor for the signature of 24-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeping sensation Andre Onana Onana,his compatriots have remained active on different airing diverse opinions on the next step.
A cross section of Cameroonians are of the opinion that the ‘popular demand’ shot stopper should stay in Amsterdam where he is a guaranteed the number one spot.
Other fanatics of the beautiful game in the Central African nation think Ajax is not ambitious enough for their keeper. These football fans want their keeper to move to a more ambitious club.
Barcelona, PSG, Manchester United and Chelsea have been ambitious as other great European or at least have more consistently pushed for continental titles in the last decade.
Therefore with the above-mentioned quartet rumoured to be interested in the services and his recent declarations about his time at Amsterdam, it is has become a matter of when he will move this sumnr, not if he will move this summer.
In the heart of these unprecedented speculations about Onana’s future, former Indomitable Lions of defender and treble AFCON winner Lucien Mettomo has given his opinion and advise to the Ngol-Nkon native and his entourage.
Speaking on the kick442.com fans platform, the former Manchester City defender was full of praises for Onana.
