Cinyodev FA U16 have reached their first ever final in the Limbe international youth tournament.
A solo strike from Kuma Fabrice Che was all it took for the boys of coach Felix Uchechukwu Chukwu looked organized all afternoon.
It took just 17 minutes of the first segment for the Cinyodev to lead courtesy 15-year midfielder cum forward Kuma Fabrice Che.
The multiple attempts to break the Cinyodev FA back line proved futile till the break.
Upon resumption the EFORCA Under-16 technical bench made multiple changes in personel in an attempt to level scores but poor finishing was their undoing.
The game ended on a one-nil score in favor of Cinyodev FA.
Speaking post-match, coach Felix Uchechukwu Chukwu expressed his delight.
“We are very much happy with the victory before the competition our first objective was the finals and here we are today making it through to the finals with Collective efforts from all the players and technical staff. We are confident about tomorrow and we will be the champions.”
Cinyodev FA face Best Stars Under-16 in an all South West Region final on Friday.
Success in the final for either side will be a victory for Southwest football.
