The president of the Littoral Regional Football championship Emmanuel Loga has died in the wee hours of Sunday at the Laquintini Hospital in Douala.
The football administrator in his 50s suffered from brief illness that last just under two weeks before joining his ancestors.
Noted for his steadfastness, Loga served football to good effect for close to two decades, switching from being a footballer to a club official and a regional FECAFOOT official held in high esteem by the national administration till his demise.
President Loga leaves behind friends, football stakeholders and family to mourn him during and after the ongoing African Nations Championship predominantly played in his region.
