Little Foot FC of Tiko have recorded an emphatic 8-2 victory in match-day four of the 2020-2021 southwest Regional championship. The boys of Coach Selestine Nkengu ended their winless run in style with an 8-2 win over Treviso scoring their first goals of the season.
Little Foot FC on Sunday, March 21, whitewashed Treviso FC 8 goals to 2 at the Tiko Town green Stadium for matchday four of the South West regional league clash. This was the highest-scoring game on matchday four and also in the whole competition so far.
Three goals from Magwa Desmond summarized the Club’s enjoyable afternoon as they picked up a first in the championship and the beginning of bright days many of the fans hope for.
Indeed, Little Foot FC looked like a different proposition as Coach Selestine picked up a first competitive win since being made head coach almost two months back.
Little Foot FC’s victory comes after a 3-0 defeat in their previous game against Tiko United and other unsuccessful outings.
It has been an unsuccessful expedition thus far for Treviso FC who have struggled to find their feet in Tiko. The team left their base in Kumba for Tiko this football championship but have found victory had to come by.
Despite the Victory Little Foot FC is still placed third in Pool F of the ongoing championship. The team currently has three points after four games played. The team has concluded its first-round matches as they are exempted from matchday five coming up this weekend.
Pool F is currently being led by EEMSA with 9 points, followed by Ajax FC with 6 points. Tiko United FC is third with 6 points. Treviso is bottom of the Pool with 0 points recorded.
