Indomitable Lions of Cameroon custodian Simon Medjo Loti Omossola has been voted AS Vita’s Man of the Match (MOTM) by the Club’s supporters following his heroics in his Club’s one-nil win DC Motema Pembe in a local derby this Sunday.
Omossola made not less than five saves to keep AS Vita Club in a football contest they narrowly-edged their Kinshasa neighbors.
It is the second time he gets the distinction as he was man of the match (MOTM) in their goalless draw against TP Mazembe earlier in the season.
Fresh from an excellent international break, the 22-year-old is one of the reason his side walked away with all three points from the fixture.
Vita Club as a compensation announced after the game that Omossola performed better than all their players on display per their ratings.
The former Cotonsport of Garoua Garoua shot stopper has been in fine form since switching to Kinshasa from Cameroon during the just-ended transfer window.
