Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Olympique Lyonnais forward Karl Toko Ekambi has been included in the French Ligue 1 team of the week recently published by French Tabloid L’Equipe.
This comes after the player’s brilliant in Sunday’s comfortable three nil win against Nimes in the match-day 12 game.
Toko is one of three Lyon players in the XI. He is joined by Marcelo and Bruno Guimarães who scored one of the goals and Dembele who scored the other all from off assists from Ekambi.
It is the second time this season Ekambi is included in the team of the week.
The 28-year-old forward has scored five goals and provided two assist in 10 French Ligue 1 games this season.
