Cameroonian trio Jean Onana, Lamkel Ze and Jean Armel Kana Biyick, have seen their clubs in the French ligue 1 relegated to the second tier.
Despite an excellent run with FC Metz which have seen him score three goals since joining them mid season, Didier Lamkel Ze could not help the Maroons survive relegation, following their five nil defeat to Paris Saint Germain in match day 38 of the French ligue 1.
Lamkel Ze played 71 minutes in the game, as goals from Neymar, Di Maria and a Kylian Mbappe hat trick, shattered Metz survival hopes. Cameroonian defender Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik, who is also in the books of Metz, has made just one appearance for the club this season. FC Metz finished the season on the 19th position, with 31 points.
It is a similar fate for midfielder Jean Emile Junior Onana Onana, and FC Girondins de Bordeaux, who finished rock bottom of the league. Despite a stunning 4#2 win over Stade Brestois on the last day of the championship, no miracle could save Bordeaux.
22_year_old Jean Onana featured in 23 of Bordeaux’s games this season, scoring three goals. The midfielder has been a subject of interest from many European sides, amongst which is Turkish giants, Galatasaray.
