Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Lyon Forward Karl Toko-Ekambi Louis Brilliant has been shortlisted for the UNFP French Ligue 1 championship player of the month of December.
The lethal finisher rediscovered his form in front of goal during the month scoring four goals plus providing two assists across the month helping Lyon to the top of the log at some point in time.
In all it has been a brilliant season for 28-year-old Toko. His 9 goals has helped his Club to the top spot in the French Ligue 1 and he is three goals shy of the top spot in the scorers chart.
Ekambi has missed his side’s recent games after testing positive for Covid-19.
He is back in the squad and winning this award could be huge boaster to the lethal finisher.
