Cameroonian defender, Enzo Tchato Gianni, gave an assist in Montpelier’s game against Ajaccio, where his club won by two goals to zero.
Montpellier, hosted Ajaccio at the Stade de la Mosson on Wednesday in Matchday four of the 2022-23 Ligue 1 campaign.
The 19-year-old Cameroonian came off the bench to assist co-forward, Sepe Elye Wahi, score the second goal of the game at the 77th minute.
This came after Arnaud Nordin Dominique put the host ahead at the 28th minute of play,a lead they kept until it was time to separate at the first half leaving the scores at 1-0.
But before they could go for the 15 minutes break, Romain Hamouma from the opposite camp, saw red after getting a second warning.
The Cameroonian and teammates, played against a newly promoted Ligue 1 side , Ajaccio, who are yet to win a game this season.
Ajaccio have just one point from six Ligue 1 games this season.
This victory cause Enzo’s side record back to back wins after thrashing Brest 7-0 last weeked to book days ei Ajaccio.
Montpellier, has recorded two defeats and three victories, winning three games in a row for the first time this year.
The club now has nine points from five games played. They sit 5th on the table, five points behind Ligue leaders, PSG.
Enzo Tchato joined Montpellier in May 23rd, 2022 but has been with the team B of the club since 2019, where he made 33 appearances and scored one goal.
This 2022 football season, he has represented the club thrice and scored a goal, plus one assist to his credit.
He has represented Cameroon at the U-20 level and participated with the junior Lions in the 2021 U-20 African Cup of Nations in Mauritania, where his team reached the quarter-finals of the Competition.
